At its meeting on 26 July 2010 chaired by Pâris Mouratoglou, the Board of Directors of EDF Energies Nouvelles approved the Group's consolidated financial statements for the first half of the 2010 financial year.

Today at the 2010 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, Paolo Scaroni, Chief Executive Officer of ENI and Henri Proglio, EDF Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, signed a trilateral Memorandum in the presence of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The Memorandum provides for specific steps towards the French company’s entry in the shareholding structure of South Stream AG.

On 1 June 2010, EDF went online with its new site, edf.fr. This launch is part of a huge programme to overhaul the Group's websites. Initiated in June 2009, the project is designed to streamline the EDF web platform, moving from a system comprising more than 40 sites to one organised around a corporate portal with a site for each area: France, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Italy, USA, Asia.

Currently a 51% shareholder in SPE-Luminus, the second largest energy company in Belgium, EDF has concluded agreements with the three Belgian shareholders having exercised their sale option, in full or in part. These agreements bear on the purchase amount for their stock in SPE, which has been fixed at 215 million Euros.

EDF Energies Nouvelles today announces that enXco, its US subsidiary and US utility Indianapolis Power & Light (IPL) reached an agreement to proceed with the 201 MW Lakefield Wind Project.

The Nam Theun 2 hydroelectric power station in Laos, with a total power output of 1070 MW has just been commissioned, marking the completion of the construction of this major project undertaken by the EDF Group in South East Asia.

On the occasion of the visit to China by the President of the French Republic, EDF's Chairman and CEO Henri Proglio signed two agreements with Sun Qin, the CEO of CNNC (China National Nuclear Corporation) and He Yu, President of CGNPC (China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Company), thereby marking a new step in the acknowledgment of EDF as a partner in China's nuclear programme.

EDF, currently a 51% shareholder in Belgium's second largest energy company, SPE-Luminus, has signed a new partnership agreement with the Belgian publics shareholders which hold a 36.5% stake in the company and have decided to stay alongside with EDF. This agreement defines the reciprocal commitments, conditions of liquidity for minority shareholders and the means of cooperation between shareholders. It will enable to optimise SPE's performance and guarantee its medium and long term growth.
