How can I become a shareholder in EDF?

To purchase EDF shares, you must place a buy order through a financial intermediary:

your bank,
an online broker,
BNP Paribas Securities Services to purchase EDF securities directly in a “pure registered” form. You can contact BNP Paribas Securities Services on the toll-free number 0800 85 85 85 from Monday to Friday between 8:45 and 18:00.

Placing a buy or sell order will incur broker’s fees set by the financial intermediary.

When you purchase shares, there are several forms of ownership:

	Bearer shares	Administered registered shares	Pure registered shares
Securities account holder	Your financial intermediary		BNP Paribas Securities Services(1)
Custodial and management fees	You pay these based on the fees charged by your financial intermediary		Free (paid by EDF)
Information	You do not receive the information on the Group automatically	You are known to EDF and you receive the documents published by EDF at your home address.
General Shareholders’ Meeting	To participate in the General Shareholders’ Meeting, you must ask your financial intermediary for an admission card	BNP Paribas Securities Services sends you the documents enabling you to: attend the General Shareholders’ Meeting vote by mail, proxy or online
Annual tax return	Your financial intermediary sends you a single tax statement regrouping all the transactions relating to your securities account		BNP Paribas Securities Services sends you a single tax statement regrouping all the transactions concerning EDF shares.
